Meet Trixy! And of course, her parents, Tina and Junior 🙂
We enjoyed a beautiful afternoon around the waterfront with this sweet family as we photographed the three of them for Tina and Junior’s engagement photos, which naturally had to include their four-legged furchild, Trixy.
One of their favorite activities is hanging out at this Greek restaurant along the bayfront in Seaport Village with sweet lil’ Trixy at their feet. Pretty amazing view from their towards Coronado and Point Loma, for sure. I think all three of them like it there a lot!
Trixy was a REALLY good girl during the engagement session—even if she did get a little bored for a minute or two. Or maybe she was just waiting for a possible Gyro piece to fall her way.
Great views, casual hang out time, watching seagulls, and a little ice cream sounds like the perfect cherry on top of the sundae!
“Where’s MINE?! Nom. Nom. Nom. Nom.”
Oh, Trixy! Not a beggy dog at all, but definitely keeping her eye out—just in case!
No, seriously, how sweet are these two? Definitely a family of three here.
Don’t worry… I think the only one who may have heard your secret was Trixy. But she’s good for it!
So much love <3
Now, to be fair, we must admit we have a few tricks up our sleeves for sessions with the pups. If you think that’s an intense look, it’s because Trixy was doing exactly what she was supposed to and anxiously *but patiently* awaiting her reward. GOOD GIRL!!!
Love it when we get a little puffy cloud goodness in San Diego! Those coastal breezes often blow out the cloud formations, but we had a little cooperation from Mother Nature this afternoon. YES!
Yep. Definitely their happy place 🙂
Time to concentrate on just Tina and Junior for a bit and release the canine talent to get more of her beauty rest and recover from her time in the spotlight. The four of us headed over to Little Italy for some great urban settings. One of our favorite neighborhood to photograph in San Diego!
Great doorways (which you KNOW I’m obsessed with!), pops of color, and great textures. All of these things make me do a happy dance. Then you add a sweet couple into the mix having a great time and I *might* get a bit spastic about it all!
Yep. Kind of lost in their own world. We love seeing that unfold during a session!
These two were pros at this point in the session! So perfectly at ease and owning it like a BOSS. Thank you Hollywood Breeze for giving us a little movement and fun there 🙂
These two sneak each other little glances that are sure to warm your heart!
More snuggles and minimalist backgrounds to make sure all the attention is on the love and connection.
Tina manages the Chez Rouge Salon in Normal Heights (and is also a stylist) which explains her amazing hair and makeup. Love, love, love that purple goodness! Actually, both Tina and Junior run their families’ businesses, which is super great!
Something about this quiet and still moment during a light test that just grips me. LOVE.
And the twilight grand finale at the San Diego County Building! Whoop!
Thank you, Tina and Junior, for spending the afternoon with us, opening up in front of our cameras, and letting us fawn over Trixy like the crazy dog people we are. We had a great time with you two and you did a fabulous job! Looking forward to celebrating your love this Fall!
