That’s one happy babe! I’m always so thankful to see the Stoico family! I’ve had so much fun continuing to tell their family’s life story through in-home documentary family portraits at their historic home in Monrovia, near LA. They are so amazing at going with the flow of the sometimes crazy parenthood moments, which makes for a great time together.
I love to start by snapping a few shots that are really just for the purpose of getting the kiddos warmed up to the camera, but sometimes I find some really natural photos within that time, even before the official start of their family portrait session! And then we ventured outside to their great little backyard. Zoe has so much energy nowadays, while Amelie is just learning to find her little toes.
I wanna bottle that energy!!But Zoe is such a great big sister with Amelie! She love to hug and kiss her, as well as be helpful when she can. And by helpful, I mean… Zoe and dad have some special yard games they play that send Zoe into hysterics. I love how much fun these guys have together! Amelie was ready for her 6 month old glamour shots. She is so expressive and pretty darn jovial. Crawling and grabbing toes. Six months for sure! She’s so expressive too! I love how adorable the above expressions are, followed by that look she gave me below as she was drooling. I think she’s pretty much thinking, “REALLY, lady? Aren’t we done here?” LOL. You’re still ridiculously adorable, Amelie!!!THIS. IS. PARENTHOOD.
These are the real life zoo moments that make me so so happy to capture!! I swear I’m not evil, but I really love it when my documentary portrait clients embrace these storytelling moments and know that they’ll appreciate having these captured 40 years from now. This is just life! <3 **SMOOCH**
Toes. Toes. Toes. I mean, who can resist that gummy baby smile?! !And Zoe keeps mom and dad (and photographer) on their toes. Every time you turn around, she She never stops moving and exploring. Laundry baskets are fun!! Who knew 🙂
Back to the buddha baby… Paul has a special relationship with each of the girls and it’s really great to witness during their documentary family portraits!Zoe <3’s Amelie SOOOOOOOOO much!
Enough to spoil her with kissses…and tickles too. 🙂 Pretty much all the best hair on the planet, under one roof. Allyson and Paul—thank you, as always, for opening up in front of the camera and sharing your everyday awesome selves with me. It’s always a joy to be there to capture the growth of your family and your lovable relationships with your kiddos! XOXO To friends and family of the Stoico family, be sure to sign their gallery guestbook to be privy to print specials and gallery release!
