Melissa and Scott’s big day finally arrived! And it was a beautiful San Diego day for their destination Coronado beach wedding!Of course, the day started off with Melissa and her gals, enjoying mimosas and getting spruced up for the day.
Meanwhile, as usual, the guys had a relatively relaxed day involving football updates and video games before getting suited up. Oh, the prettiness! Since Melissa and Scott opted to wait and see each other at the ceremony, we took the guys out for a bit solo while the gals finished up their preparations… Can you believe how clear it was that day?! You could see all the way to downtown without much haze at all. That doesn’t happen very often 🙂 Time to give the guys a break for a bit as we popped back over to see what the girls were up to!Slipping into Cinderella’s slipper… Love how much these girls make Melissa smile and laugh <3Gorgeous!! And thank you, conveniently timed Hollywood breeze! Time to head to the beach and get ready to get these two married!! Big ol’ smile on Scott’s face as he watched his wife-to-be approach. Eyes locked. Huge smile. Melissa had a bit of a moment here as she joined Scott up front. One of her favorite things about Scott is how he always makes her feel calm when she gets stressed out. I’m sure she felt that wave of positivity wash over her at this moment!
Soooooo dreamy out there on Silver Strand Beach that day! MARRIED!!! Love how much both Scott and Melissa adore their little nieces. Adorbs!
This whole group is pretty athletic, so they spontaneously decided a running match was in order. After they crossed the finish line, Annie and I had a few minutes with the newlyweds for some fun on the beach. That photo on the right makes me happy! And even fit in a little first dance rehearsal in the lobby at Loews Coronado. Sweet moves, you two! Love this peek-a-boo shot Annie captured through the staircase ironwork! All the beachy goodness. Time for dinner and dancing under the stars. Melissa was so excited about the market lights in this space. It really does MAKE it! Some great toasts from family and friends. Always so fun to hear these stories of our couples! Even if they are a little embarrassing… 😉 And HILARIOUS!!Time to get the dance floor moving—starting off with a few quiet moments with their parents. Adore how much fun both Melissa and Scott have with their nieces!PARRRRRRRRRTAAAAAAY!And then the paper towel roll came out… I’m sure there’s a great story behind this but it turned into a very entertaining limbo contest which involved pretty much every guest at one point or another. It was a HOOT!! ADORBS!!! The dance floor really started to pick up! Get it, you two crazy kids! Melissa and Scott, thanks so much for sharing your day with us! Really couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful Southern California day. Cheers to many years of sharing time with your dogs, Netflix and chillin’, and sports galore!
