They’re married!!
Sarah and Matt enjoyed their day of wedded bliss last week over at the beautiful Marston House and the Hyatt Regency Mission Bay. They were nice enough to supply absolutely gorgeous weather for both locations for all of her family and friends, especially a treat after a full week of June gloom! The bride and groom started their day over at the Hyatt to get ready for the ceremony.
I love how Betsy likes to shoot “outside the box” (or “behind the curtain” as it were). <3
Shooting stealth mode also allowed Sarah to have a few peaceful moments together with her mom and sister-in-law while we did our thing from a little further distance.
Just look at that smile!
And, of course, the guys were smiling quite a bit, too!
Time for Sarah and Matt’s First Look! We always love to see our couples’ reactions during First Looks as they get grounded with one another for the day. Everything in life is better together, right?
Awwww!
Sarah loves this bridge, so we headed over there to sneak in a few shots in front of the big trees with the afternoon light streaming through.
After spending some time with Matt and Sarah at the Hyatt, we all piled into the Bridal Trolley Car (her name is “Felicity”, by the way… how cute is that?!?) and headed over to the Marston House for a few more pics at that gorgeous property before the ceremony.
Such a classic portrait of these two… and totally timeless. LOVE!!
I know that this might be weird to say/write, but I love it when the ringbearer has a mini meltdown before his time to walk down the aisle… it just makes me giggle a little, you know?![]()
He got lined up with the flower girls, then pretty much bolted and made a serious run for it!
Sarah’s dad was smiling ear to ear all day long… clearly super excited about his little girl’s big day!
Some teehee + tears of joy = a great ceremony ![]()
It is so clear that Rabbi Ian loves his job! He delivers such a wonderful Jewish ceremony… full of laughter and tears… and we just love that.
Brenda Swann with Swann Soirées did an amazing job (as always) of making sure every last detail was perfect for Sarah and Matt’s ceremony and reception, transforming the ballroom. It all came together so well!
It was a real joy to watch Sarah and Matt dance together for the first time as husband and wife… it’s as if all the craziness from the planning and preparation had finally washed away.![]()
There is nothing quite like photographing a high-energy Hora! Of course, it’s always a challenge to stay out of everyone’s way as they spin around the entire dance floor, AND WE LOVE THE CHALLENGE!
Everyone was rockin’ out on the dance floor. And I mean EVERYONE!
To Sarah and Matt: may your marriage be long and meaningful, and we wish you nothing but the best that life has to offer you both. You are a sweet couple, and we have enjoyed getting to know you both! Thank you for inviting us to document your wedding, and we look forward to sharing the rest of your images with you!![]()
