sara + kasey’s private estate wedding | san diego, california

Once upon a time, there was a pretty, pretty princess who finally found her Prince Charming…

Sara was SOOOO very excited for her big day with Kasey! Even though Sara dresses up as Cinderella and other Disney princesses for children who are sick and in the hospital on a regular basis, she finally fulfilled her dream to act the part in every way with her best friend and husband-to-be!

Sara had the elaborate gown and of course a tiara and this hairpiece that her mom stayed up all night crafting with Grandma’s pearls and lace. The finishing touch of course is the heart and date on the back. How cute and thoughtful!

All of Sara’s lovely ladies were there to help her into her princess gown.:)

It’s always so great to see a couple about to see each other for the first time on their wedding day. Sara and Kasey were no exception, as we placed Kas just outside the big double doors that lead into the house. When we were all set, Sara paused for a second at the doors, then bounded out to see her man!

Some really sweet moments between these two!

Kasey got a kick out of watching Sara spin around in her dress!

Although it was super-hot that day (106?!!), the bridal party stayed cool underneath these trees down by the private lake. Sara chose a variety of cheery colors for everyone.

As Sara was waiting to walk down the aisle, all of her guests were treated to a very cool brass band!

Love that Sara’s sister threw her the “I love you” sign as she rounded the corner towards the ceremony.

Both of Sara’s dads (and moms too!) were proud of their baby girl that day.:)

Is that a train? Or is that a train?!

Sara and Kasey really intently listened to each of their singers and readers, taking it all in.

Kasey was sure to include the promise to treat Sara as the princess she is in his vows—good man!:)
Awww! We love tears…

…and smiles too!:)

And the crowd went wild!

MARRIED!!

So for their grand entrance, Sara went down the stairs first. But wait! She dropped one of her glass slippers! What’s a pretty princess to do?!? Thankfully, she had already found (and married) her prince charming, as Kasey followed her down the stairs, picked up her glass slipper, and placed it back on her foot. A perfect fit!

The light was so pretty as Sara and Kasey danced for the first time as Princess and Prince!

Everybody loves a good toast. Especially when they are meaningful! And even more especially when the bride gives that great “Huh? What?” face. That’s what sisters for are for:)
Hee hee!

Sara danced with both of her dads that evening, and she was overcome with joy.:)

During the father-daughter dance, they were taken back to the times when they used to always sing together and just let it go. So precious!

Kasey, dancing with his mom (who obviously was loving every minute of it!)

Sara and Kasey, thank you so much for giving us the opportunity to document your fairy tale! We can’t wait to enjoy some BBQ with you guys up at the ranch (after a quick trip to Stone, perhaps?) Give Grippy a nice scratch on the head from us!:)

AND THEY LIVED HAPPILY EVER AFTER!

THE END. <3
