It is our job as a lifestyle photographers to tell the story of a couple or family through our photography. We are happiest when we really get to know our clients and provide them with imagery that really illustrates the special connections between couples and families. We were thrilled to photograph the second chapter of Meera and Brian’s life as their newest family member, Nikhil, entered their lives! We’ve been looking forward to meeting Nikhil…when we photographed their maternity session awhile back, we didn’t know what Nikhil’s name was to be. Neither did Brian and Meera.
But they needed a name of some kind as they went shopping or chatting with friends and family, so they went with “The Cap’n” for a little bit until they chose Nikhil’s name!
Little Nikhil was so active during our shoot! Usually, the little ones will be up for a bit, then crash out for an hour while we shoot. Not so with Nikhil! He was a little ball of energy that really kept us on our toes!
He was so responsive to daddy’s silly noises. Too cute!
We LOVED all the monkey-themed decorations in Nikhil’s nursery! Even the baby skin care products boasted monkey-themed names like “Anti Monkey-Butt”.
Sleepy…sleeeeeeeeeeeepy….nope! Not yet.
He really didn’t want to miss a thing of what was going on.
Such a love-filled family!
Brian and Meera are so great with each other, and with their son as well. They definitely work together as a team—think that will especially be an asset in about 15 years!
