Another fabulous wedding!
Caroline and Adam tied the knot last week over at the super-cool La Valencia Hotel down in La Jolla. It was a fantastic day… after a very windy morning, the sun was out, not too hot, not too cold… just lovely weather for these two lovebirds who honored us by choosing us as their wedding photographers! Caroline absolutely ROCKED this dress by The White Flower on her special day!
Adam was astonishingly calm, cool and collected. And yet, you could really tell that he was excited to marry the love of his life on that day!

Time for the happy couple to see each other for the first time on their wedding day! I’m sure you all know how much we LOVE providing couples with the opportunity to just “soak everything in” before the controlled chaos of the wedding kicks into gear! <3
Caroline and Adam really enjoyed spending a little quiet time with each other, sharing a few laughs and snuggling up close.

La Valencia definitely has a cool spot for intimate ceremonies. Love the added touch of the flower petal aisle runner, artfully laid out for Caroline by Modern Bouquet. All the florals were just gorgeous, luscious, but inviting. Lovely stuff!
Caroline’s dad delivered a wonderful ceremony for his darling girl and new son-in-law.
Just after the ceremony and family photos, we whisked the newlyweds away to visit the cove for a few portraits. Gotta love the day after a rainstorm in San Diego… big clouds!
The happy couple has arrived!
So this is where Adam just had his mind blown! Caroline work for the Padres organization, and was able to arrange to have the Swingin’ San Diego Friar show up for an appearance! It was an awesome surprise for Adam. Literally got the ‘thumbs up’ from the happy groom!
The Friar was super-outgoing (wouldn’t you have to be?) and made rounds to EVERYONE at the reception! Love it.
Caroline is clearly a baseball fan as well (kinda necessary to work for the Padres, I imagine)… she threw her bouquet over her shoulder with what appeared to be the velocity of a Trevor Hoffman four-seam-fastball.
STEEEEEE-RRRRIIIIIIKE!
