Ahhhhh… Adriana & Nick finally tied the knot up the stunning Condor’s Nest Ranch last week, and we have been dying to share some highlights! You may remember their fun engagement session up at the Mission San Juan Capistrano earlier this year. Have you ever met a couple where BOTH individuals have a completely infectious laugh? That would be Adriana and Nick.
They have always kept us in stitches when we have spent time with them. From their initial consultation at Wiens Family Cellars in Temecula, to the engagement session in Orange County, and now during their most special day out in the foothills of Pala. They are both so very warm-hearted, emotional and generous in spirit!
Aside from all the pretty details associated with the ranch (which Adriana and Nick call “The invited guest that never actually got an invitation”), there were a lot of really special details that Adriana and Nick put together like these cufflinks; Nick had these custom-made to reflect where he is from (Kansas City) on one link, and where he met Adriana on the other (Santa Monica). He even had cufflinks made for all his guys, depicting where that groomsman was from as well as where he spent time with each one. Clever!
Adriana’s sweet little smile just tugs at the heartstrings.![]()
Time for their First Look! We went around the backside of the barn to give these two lovebirds a little privacy, although all the horses, roosters, pigs, sheep and llamas (yes, llamas!) came out to watch…
They were both so excited to see each other! Adriana and Nick both spent quite a bit of time enjoying the moment, and getting “grounded” before the big moment of their ceremony. So sweet!
We love how Adriana smacks Nick (with love! Always with love!) on the chest when she is laughing about something. Hee hee!
What’s up, glamour models!
So many great touches on the tables for their guests to enjoy! Many of Adriana’s memories of growing up in Mexico were represented by cute little details like the blanket shown below, made by her abuela.![]()
And do you remember the California quilt from their engagement session? Such a wonderful heirloom!
Each table was marked with a cute little plushie animal, and the guests were all given little cards with the corresponding animal to find their seat in front of the charming collection of mismatched china at the Condor’s Nest.
Nick’s mom made this cute Welcome banner as well! Adriana and Nick did a great job of combining homie elements and identity from both sides of the family.
Adriana was simply GLOWING as her parents walked her down the aisle. This is one thing that we (and our couples) LOVE about First Looks! She was able to really take notice of all her friends and family who came out for their big day.![]()
We also love that Nick and Adriana give each other silly looks from time to time. Hee hee! Just like Betsy and me.
Silly looks as well as purely sweet and loving looks!
Hellllllloooooo from the animals!
We absolutely ADORE the greenhouse setting at the Condor’s Nest! So beautiful the way light splashes down inside. And a great place for the newlyweds to catch their breath before their grand entrance!
The party started to get under way as we were doing some portraits for Nick and Adriana… one of our favorite details that gave homage to Adriana’s Mexican heritage was the killer Mariachi band! This was a special treat from the bride to her father. Awww!
Such a sweet first dance between these two… they just got lost in each other’s arms.
Watching Adriana’s proud father dance with his sweet little girl made me well up. Who wouldn’t? :’-)
Same goes for Nicholas’ mom…
I really can’t tell you guys enough how much Betsy and I truly enjoyed your big day together at the ranch! Everything was gorgeous, the location was perfect, and you two are just so incredible both together, as well as individuals. You are a model husband/wife team, and we are so honored that you asked us to document these moments for you.![]()
Big hugs!
